It’s Been Like 4 Hours…

It’s only been like four hours since Devin left for L.A. and I miss him like he’s been gone all week. It’s been a really long time since he’s been gone for a week at a time. And even then, he would leave really early Monday morning and be home by 7 on Thursday, so I was only alone for two days. This times its going to be a full five days. :(

I was so distraught when he left that it was almost immediately that I called Dustin and Angela to see if they wanted to go to Target with me. They did :) Then we met my mom and my cousin for dinner at Sonny’s . MMM NUM! (That was for you, Ashley.) Now I’m going to clean, clean, clean. Well, I’m at least going to clean. That’s why I went to Target, to get some magic erasers (among other things) to do some REAL cleaning this week. So we’ll see how much I actually get done, and how late I stay up doing it.

The vacation already started out amazingly. Friday, right after work, I met up with some of the girls in my Sunday School class to have dinner at Chick-fil-A before the Beth Moore simulcast. That lasted until 10:30. Then we got up and were there from 9:00 – 1:30 Saturday, and finished the day off with lunch at Sonny’s. (I’m ALWAYS in the mood for Sonny’s now!) Today in church was the all praise and worship service. It couldn’t have landed on a more perfect Sunday. It really was the perfect ending to the weekend, which coincidentally was the perfect start to the week :)

Part of me wants this week to just fly by so Devin will be home with me again. But the other part of me wants this week to go by so slow (which is usually what happens when Devin is gone) because I’m on vacation and don’t want to go back to work! The first three days of vacation (I’m counting Friday night) have been great, since Brittany is coming over tomorrow, I have no doubt the first four days will be a success :) The rest of the week is a mystery.
